To setup and start your service
you'll need to thoroughly read through
our
Service Agreement,
completely fill out the last page and
fax or email it back to us. Once you've
paid your startup fees we will schedule
the pre-birth delivery and provide you
with a diaper demonstration.
We recommend setting up
service 4 to 5 weeks prior to your
estimated due date so we can schedule
the diaper demonstration 1 to 2 weeks
prior to your due date. If you're making
the switch to cloth diapers for a baby
that has already been born, please allow
us a 1 to 2 week setup window. We will
do our best to accommodate urgent cloth
diaper service needs.
How does the service work?
Once a week, you will receive freshly laundered and
folded diapers delivered right to your door.
Diapers are delivered in a water-resistant laundry bag,
along with a diaper pail liner.
There is no need for anyone to be home to receive the
delivery. If you live in a gated community or condo, please make
arraignments with your security gate/guard. We will do our best to work with
you on delivery options.
Once each week, the dirty diapers are picked up by our
delivery person and swapped out for clean ones.
Our diaper service uses 100% unbleached Indian cotton
prefold diapers.
More than half of our prefold diaper inventory is
100% organic unbleached Indian cotton.
What process do you use to launder
the diapers?
Diapers are sanitized using an
extremely high temperature
laundering process in high-grade
industrial washers and dryers. No
chemicals or dyes are used in the
laundering process and our detergent
is an all natural, fragrance free,
non-combustible, non-hazardous,
non-fuming, non-toxic, and
biodegradable soap, free of ANY
harmful synthetic ingredients.
Will I receive my own diapers
each week?
If you prefer to receive the same diapers
back each week, there are
packages available. These diapers
will not be shared nor washed with
other customers’ diapers. You will have an
identification tag which are always
kept with your diapers.
Do I receive the same amount
of diapers each week?
No, diapers are in a rotation.
During the pre-birth delivery of
your start kit you will receive 80
diapers for a newborn. At the first
pickup/delivery, we will pick up all
dirty diapers and delivery another
80 diapers. This starts your
rotation of 160 diapers. On the 2nd
week of service you will receive the
same number of diapers we picked up
on week 1; on week 3 we will
delivery the same number of diapers
we picked up on week 2. Your
rotation will continue in this
manner until your baby moves into
the next size diaper, where the
number of diapers in rotation
decreases.
If your diaper needs change
as time goes on, so can the number
of diapers that are in your rotation. Just let us know your needs and
we will accommodate your request.
See our
Price List for the cost of
adding additional diapers into
rotation.
How do I care for the diapers
and other rental items?
As required with any diaper, any
loose material should be
disposed of before placing it in
your diaper pail. There is no
need to soak or rinse diapers.
Only Shake off loose stools. If it
doesn't shake out...don't worry about
it.
The Diaper Cover should
be changed when:
Urine gets the lining of the
cover wet
Any feces gets on the cover
If there is an odor
Usually, one cover can be used
for one to two days. When
washing is needed, covers and
wet bag should
be washed with your child’s
laundry and can be hung to dry
or laid on top of the dryer. If
using a dryer please dry covers on LOW
for no more than five (5) minutes and
the wet bag on LOW for no more than 15
minutes. What about
diaper rash creams?
Diaper rash creams can be used with
our diapers without a barrier,
however we ask that you use one of
our approved diaper creams listed
below to prevent staining and build
up from forming on the diaper making
it repel liquid.
Although
diaper rash is common, especially
among babies in disposal diapers, it
is not normal and parents should
find the cause of the rash.
Some common causes include but are
not limited to:
Prolonged contact with
soiled diaper. Be sure to change
your baby regularly. I suggest
checking the diaper once per
hour and changing it at least
once every 2 hours -- especially
for newborns and young infants.
Poopie diaper should be changed
immediately!
If Mom is nursing, too much
acidic or allergenic food
consumption may cause rashes.
Dry skin -- are you washing
baby too frequently, which
strips the skin of natural oils?
Could it be the wipes you're
using? Wipes solution?
Teething or illness -- if
this is the cause, continue to
be diligent and things will get
better.
